This handmade "small mouthed colander" comes from the Oaxacan Region of Mexico and was made by artisan Reyna Simon Lopez. Though black pottery is a trademark of this region, her work shows extreme talent and attention to detail and a spiritual and historical significance derived from the local miracle of San Bartolo.
