The art of wooden furniture making is a long-standing tradition in Mexico, especially in the state of Michoacan where this table was masterfully carved and painted by a local artisan. In the center is the yellow sun encircled by a garland of orange flowers. The three legs are carved in the shape of birds with long tail feathers lightly painted yellow and red. The legs easily detach from the top and fold together into one piece making it easy to ship. This table is coffee table size and without question, a beautiful piece.
