Prayer Wheel Incense Burner
Patan is a village outside of Kathmandu in Nepal which
has been long touted for the skill of its statue makers. This Tibetan
Incense Burner with built-in holder comes from that famous region. In
the center is the prayer wheel filled with thousands of Tibetan mantras.
Spin the wheel to release the prayers. Most likely the prayer Ome Mane
Padme Hum, the prayer of compassion fills the wheel. Lit incense is
held in a drawer underneath which lets the smoke filter up through the
filagree top. Stored incense stands in the side pillars.
